Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my work - and let me be one of the first to say congratulations!
You're either engaged, starting a family, growing your family or just celebrating life - I'm so happy for you!
My name is Tylar Delegeane and I'm a natural light photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm a native Californian with an old, Midwestern soul - my biggest dream is to return to the Midwest where my father's family comes from and build my own family on a big farm with a lot of animals and cheese. When I'm not behind my camera, you can almost always find me listening to my favorite Ella Fitzgerald records, spending time with my family, reading a book or cuddling with one (or all) of my three cats. In 2013, I graduated from the Academy of Art University with my bachelors degree in editorial photography and two years prior to that, I met my husband Max. We recently tied the knot in 2017 and life has never been as sweet.
The light that surrounds the golden state has been my inspiration for my lighting choices - I truly believe it represents just how beautiful life can be in this big, crazy world. There is nothing that I love more than capturing the love stories of my clients and their families - the ability to capture (and be trusted with capturing) 1/2000th of a second is an incredibly powerful thing and I want every one of my clients to be able to keep and love their photographs for generations.
As a recent bride, I've come to find a new respect and understanding of the wedding planning process and it's my job to make this process as easy as I can for you. I am here to not only photograph your wedding day - but to provide feedback on timeline building, give recommendations on trusted vendors and to make this day one that you'll always look back on with gratitude and love.
This guy is Max - not only is he my husband, but he's also my second shooter and best assistant! Max and I have been photographing weddings together for the past six years and to say that we work well together is an understatement. When the day begins - he will hang out and photograph the men getting ready, while I'll be with the bride and her ladies. We come together to capture different angles during your ceremony, photograph your formal family photographs with patience and efficiency, and then come back to together to capture your reception at every angle. Don't be surprised if you see us on the dance floor when the dance floor opens - we love to dance!
I mentioned above that Max and I met in college at the Academy of Art University meaning that he's not only an amazing photographer, but he's an extremely talented video producer and motion graphics artist. Max works full time in the Silicon Valley at a cloud storage company but dreams of riding a motorcycle around the mountains and fishing all day long. He's more of a dog person, but secretly loves our cats (he'll deny this). He's an avid movie quoter and will never fail to make you laugh with one of the millions that are stored in his head. Max is the true artist between the two of us - he has the most particular eye for detail and never has a lack of creativity.
We are so incredibly excited that you've considered us to photograph this special time in your life. We can't wait to meet you!
